Oven-Roasted Soy Sauce Chicken

Oven-Roasted Soy Chicken 1

Rinse the chicken pieces under water with a sprinkle of salt.

Half a day before cooking, marinate the chicken with dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, honey, sesame oil and herbs. Place the marinated chicken in the fridge.

Oven-Roasted Soy Chicken 2

Preheat the oven at 200 degree celsius.
Wrap the chicken in aluminum foil and place in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes until cooked.
Make an incision into the largest piece of chicken to verify if the chicken is cooked.

Oven-Roasted Soy Chicken 3

Uncover the aluminum foil and continue cooking in the oven for another 10 minutes to brown the chicken pieces.
The smaller pieces were more thoroughly marinated and more flavourful. I would opt for smaller pieces next time.

Serve.
