Begedil aka Perkedel (Fried Potato Cakes)













Begedil preparation is fairly labor intensive. These 30 Begedil took about 2 hours to make. The potato slices need to pound in batches if your mortar and pestle set is small, which will usually be the case.

This makes about 30 Begedils.

13 large potatoes
4 cloves of garlic
3 clumps of spring onion
2 cubes of chicken stock
4 eggs
oil
salt
pepper
